First Look At LEGO Mixels Series 7

The LEGO Mixels theme looks to continue with three new tribes for the 7th series. Based on the names and shape of these Mixels, the new tribes looks to be based off law enforcement, musical instruments and medieval themes. Pictured from left to right are Kuffs (41554), Jamzy (41560) & Camillot (41557). As with previous series, these will be priced at $4.99.

LEGO SDCC 2015 Exclusive – LEGO Bionicle Skull Scorpio Mask

The last LEGO SDCC 2015 exclusive will be a transparent neon green LEGO Bionicle Skull Scorpio Mask. This mask piece wasn’t new and has been found in previous sets like Skull Basher (70793) & Skull Scorpio (70794). However this is the first time it’s been available in transparent neon green. The drawing for this item will be held on Saturday at 12:30PM at the Pavilion Terrace area.

Packaging For LEGO SDCC 2015 Sets

Here’s a better look at the packaging for the three exclusive LEGO SDCC 2015 sets. Something new that we didn’t know before is that the exclusive Star Wars set will come with an R2-D2 droid. Like all other minifigures in these sets, it’s not rare and can be found in other regular sets.

All three sets will be hard to get a hold of. Just for the chance to buy them, you will need to line up each morning at 7AM at the convention to get a raffle ticket. You’ll only get to purchase them if you have the winning raffle ticket.

LEGO DC Arsenal Minifigure – SDCC 2015 Exclusive

Here’s the next SDCC exclusive minifigure revealed: Arsenal aka Roy Harper. This version of the minifigure will be based on his appearance from the Arrow television show. 1500 copies of this minifigure will be up for grabs.

Like the previously revealed All New Captain America (Sam Wilson) minifigure, you will need to enter a daily drawing by standing in a line at the Pavilion Terrace area of the convention. The drawing for Arsenal will take place on Thursday, July 9th at 12:30PM.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Action Comics #1 – SDCC 2015 Exclusive

The third and possibly final SDCC 2015 exclusive set have been revealed by Collider. The set is a recreation of Superman’s first appearance on the cover of Action Comics #1. As in the comic book cover, Superman is lifting a green car above his head.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Action Comics #1 Superman comes with 145 pieces and will retail for $39.99. Similar to the other two SDCC 2015 exclusives, LEGO Marvel Throne of Ultron & LEGO Star Wars Dagobah, you will need to wait in line to get a raffle ticket. Only those with a winning raffle ticket will get a chance to actually buy the set. Needless to say, this set will be tough to get a hold off without resorting to eBay prices.

SDCC 2015 Exclusive – LEGO Marvel All New Captain America Minifigure

The first SDCC 2015 exclusive minifigure has been revealed! The minifigure is Sam Wilson as the All New Captain America from the ongoing Marvel Secret Wars 2015 storyline.

Like previous years, the only way to get your hands on this minifigure is to stand in line to enter a raffle. The setup should be similar to last year where you touch an iPad screen to determine if you’re a winner or not.

Something to note that is different this year is that there will only be 3 raffle days running from Thursday to Saturday. Unless that is a typo, it could mean there might only be 3 exclusive minifigures available this year.

LEGO Star Wars Dagobah – SDCC 2015 Exclusive

Another SDCC 2015 exclusive set has now been revealed. This time it’s a model of Dagobah with Yoda’s Hut and an X-wing from Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back. The set contains 177 pieces and will sell for $39.99.

Something different about the purchase method this year is that you will need to get a purchase ticket from the Pavilion Terrace area. This should stop the mad scramble to get to the LEGO booth at opening.

LEGO Marvel Throne of Ultron – SDCC 2015 Exclusive

LEGO news for the next San Diego Comic-Con is finally trickling out. Here’s a look at the first SDCC 2015 exclusive set: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Throne of Ultron. It’s a 203 piece set that features Ultron sitting on a throne with 3 of his sentries surrounding him. This set will sell for $39.99 and only be available in limited quantities at the convention.

Like previous LEGO convention exclusives, it’ll be tough to get a hold of. However, nothing in the set is exclusive or rare. The same Ultron minifigure can be found in The Avengers Quinjet City Chase (76032). The sentries are similar to the ones found in Iron Man vs. Ultron (76029) but they have an additional collar that is worn by Ultron in The Hulk Buster Smash (76031).

I’ll try to find instructions for this set once they become available like we did with last year’s LEGO Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile.

The LEGO Movie Submarine Set Coming Next Year?

At a panel at SDCC, LEGO showed off a new Unikitty variant with 2 unique faces that will be released in a 2015 set. One of the faces appeared on Unikitty during the Master Builder’s Submarine scene in the movie. This could be a hint of a possible set coming with the third wave of The LEGO Movie sets arriving in early 2015. Check out the image below taken by The Brick Fan at the SDCC panel.
