The End of the LEGO Lone Ranger Theme?

Disney is expecting to lose between $160-$190 million on The Lone Ranger movie. The fallout from this is that there will be no sequel and producer Jerry Bruckheimer may lose final cut rights on the next Pirates movie.

For LEGO fans, this signals the end of the LEGO Lone Ranger theme. Without any future movies, there won’t any more product waves. Stores like Amazon, Target and the Disney Store have already started clearancing some of these sets. While this theme is one and done, it still has produced some great sets like the Stagecoach Escape (79108), Silver Mine Shootout (79110) and the Constitution Train Chase (79111).
