Now that all the LEGO Inside Tour 2014 sessions have completed, we can finally reveal that this year’s model is The LEGOLAND Train (4000014). This train set is designed by Steen Sig Andersen and modeled after the train that runs around LEGOLAND Billund theme park. Like previous Inside Tour sets, this is also based on a significant part of LEGO’s history since LEGOLAND Billund was the first theme park built by LEGO.
These sets are only given away to attendants of the annual tour in Billund, Denmark. They’re quite exclusive and rare with probably under 400 copies made. If you’d like to attend next year’s tour, signups will probably start in Fall 2014. The event will cost around 13,000 DKK or $2400 per person. This is the ultimate tour for LEGO enthusiasts because it provides access to LEGO factories and designers in Denmark.
